The family left Portland, Oregon on a red eye flight to London, arriving early afternoon. The following day we had an early flight to Malta. A brief layover in London, we spent the night hanging out at the Crown Plaza Heathrow T4 hotel.
Youth Review: “Yuck, the hallway carpets stink!” The hotel smelled like an old house and the hallway was dark, lit like a 1940’s southern hotel.
“Oh it’s not fair, our bedroom is tiny compared to yours!”
Our parents made us put this in:
This was an overnight layover hotel after a red-eye flight. Room was right next to a road, but we didn’t hear anything due to soundproof rooms. The girls were very tired and barely made it through dinner. Their foldout bed was already made and ready for them with chocolates in the room. The Nespresso coffee was well appreciated.
The buffet breakfast was excellent – a large assortment of freshly baked pastries, omelettes / eggs to order, cereals, cheeses, fruit. Coffee served in a coffee pot to your table and your server truly tried to impress.
